Lady A

kSa received some extra tickets from work the other day for the Lady Antebellum concert and was nice enough to invite me!  We're both slight country music obsessives so this was right up our alley.

We had to check out the intriguing sounding VIP area we had gotten passes for.  It was beautifully decorated and a nice place to relax.  Not to mention private bathrooms that never had a line!

We had amazing seats right up front!

Thompson Square was the first opening act, I'm not that into their music but they put on fun show.

Next up was Darius Rucker, kSa could barely contain her excitement!

You would have never guessed that his first show with Hootie and the Blowfish was 25 years ago!  He had so much energy and put on an amazing performance!

We were both excited when it was finally time for Lady Antebellum to take the stage.
Their entire performance was amazing

They sounded even better live than on the radio!

It was great how involved they kept the audience, they even brought on little girl on stage to sing with them!  We had such an amazing time singing along to every song

Thanks to kSa for taking me to such a great show!

Taste of the Tropics

One of the recent warm sunny days kSa and I (eBr) decided to check out the Tiki Bar in Harbor View.  While the Tiki Bar has been open for some time, neither us had ever ventured over to check it out before now.  Immediately we loved the palm trees lining the dock.

There was a great view of the Domino Sugars sign,

As well as the rest of the city.

We were having so much fun and stayed past sunset.  We just couldn't pull ourselves away from the beautiful views.

If you're looking for a little taste of the tropics, but don't want to leave Bmore, I would definitely recommend the Tiki Bar!

Champagne and Pearls

This past weekend we moved one step closer to Hayner's wedding with the celebration of her bridal shower!

The theme was champagne and they had set up an amazing and extensive champagne bar for guests to enjoy.

There were pearl accents everywhere, very characteristic of Hayner!

After some amazing food, we all gathered round Hayner to see the gifts she recieved, and there were a ton!

It was great to see some of the really personal presents she received.  There were so many creative and talented people!

After presents we all enjoyed some delicious cake, Hayner's mother made it herself.  It was almost too beautiful to eat!

It was great to be able to catch up with some of my ZTA sisters, we all can't wait for the wedding to be held at our alma mater Washington College!

Keeping in theme we all received champagne cupcakes with champagne buttercream icing.

They looked so good I couldn't resist and dug into mine basically as soon as I got home, and it was definitely worth it!

A special thanks to Hayner and her family for such an amazing day, if this is the bridal shower I can't wait to see how beautiful the wedding will be!

How Bout Dem O's

Baltimore Springs aren't complete without a Friday night trip to an Orioles game!

Miss F and E.M. MD accompanied me, eBr, to the game for the night.

We sat rather high up, but who could pass up $6 student tickets?  Not like we really watched the game that much anyway...

I love Miss F's shirt and am currently searching for one for myself!

It was a great night out at the ball park and the win just made it that much better!

Derby Day

This past weekend the Federal Hill girls and I, eBr, hosted a Cinco de Derby party to celebrate two great holidays on the same day.

We were so excited to put on our sundresses and big hats!

We were particularly excited about the monogrammed hats; we had just gotten them from the wonderful ladies at Wardrobe 360

We had a great time watching the race, and even did a little informal betting!

After the race was run we headed to the deck for a few drinks and a gorgeous view.

We all had such a great day, and I was so happy some of my Washington College girls could join me!

I want to give a special thanks to the ladies at Wardrobe 360 for getting us such amazing hats so quickly!  To check out what else the ladies at Wardrobe 360 have to offer click here

Federal Hill Festival

eBr is so happy to finally be living in Federal Hill for a summer, and this weekends Federal Hill Festival was just one of the many things she's looking forward to this summer.

First stop was the Ryleigh's stand for some delicious crushes

I got the acia blueberry crush and the other girls got the raspberry lemonade crush, all were delicious!

It was a great day spent outside with the girls, and eBr can't wait to see what else the summer brings!
